Private-label candles: MOQ, samples and production
AIKUN supports OEM, ODM and private-label candle projects, including wax, fragrance, vessels, labels and packaging. Use the following planning ranges to prepare your inquiry. The confirmed quotation and order documents define the terms for your project.
What is the minimum order quantity?
| Project type | Planning quantity |
|---|---|
| Selected stock styles | 50–100 units, subject to availability |
| First trial order | 100 units may be negotiated for selected configurations |
| Regular customization | 300 units per SKU |
| New mould or complex full customization | Usually 500–1,000 units |
Vessel, fragrance, printing and packaging minimums are assessed together. A lower trial quantity does not apply automatically to every product or customization.
How long does sampling take?
| Sample type | Typical preparation time |
|---|---|
| Standard stock sample | 3–5 working days |
| Light customization | 5–7 working days |
| Dedicated fragrance or complete packaging | 7–15 working days |
| New mould development | Usually 25–35 days |
How long does bulk production take?
Regular orders normally take 15–20 days. Multi-process, dedicated-fragrance or larger orders normally take 25–30 days. Production timing starts after the sample, deposit, packaging files and materials have all been confirmed. Shipping time is additional; confirm peak-season availability with sales.
How are samples and orders paid for?
Sample fees are paid in advance. When the formal order total, including freight, reaches USD 2,000, the sample fee can be credited against the balance. Eligibility for mould fees, rush fees and third-party testing fees is specified in the quotation.
Samples and small orders normally require full payment in advance. Regular bulk orders normally use a 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment. A 50% / 50% schedule may apply to complex custom projects. The contract and pro forma invoice confirm the final payment terms.
What shipping arrangements can be discussed?
FOB, FCA, DAP and DDP terms can be discussed according to the destination and shipment. Shanghai and Ningbo are the main shipment ports. Ask sales to confirm the route, freight, required documentation and the responsibilities stated in your quotation.
